Timber Trusses

Total exposure, timber style.
Pacific’s rugged timber trusses are stunning conversation pieces that add an exclamation mark to every home and building. Exposed heavy timbers are a hallmark of traditional timber-framed construction, but now Pacific Truss makes this up-scale look possible for any building. By using conventional 2 x 6 framing for walls, you can add exposed Timber Trusses for the same high impact visual effect and feel as classic, timber-framed, post and beam structures.

Pacific’s timber trusses give homes and buildings a timeless appeal and atmosphere, as they are the feature focal point of vaulted ceilings in many design schemes, including West Coast style, as well as Traditional, Adirondack Lodge, Gothic or Contemporary. Honesty and integrity in design, materials and craftsmanship enable us to help frame your memories and dreams in timber – whether that be a single show stopping truss, or an entire system.

These engineered masterpieces are made in our timberworks shop from famous British Columbia timbers hewn from Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar trees with European standard workmanship. For your custom designed timber trusses, we can provide design options and solutions with engineered design drawings, including truss elevations, shop drawings, beam layouts and details.

There are several options for connectors, including lag bolts, steel rods, light metal connection plates, and internal or external bolted steel connection plates. Steel and bolts may be painted, powder coated, or left galvanized. We custom design and engineer all connections, and then send CAD drawings to our steel fabricators, who input our CAD design files into plasma cutting machines, ensuring complete accuracy from design through the fabrication process.
