September 14th, PinkWood Ltd. celebrated the completion of their first fire resistant “ALL PINK” house in Calgary, AB. The floor joists, roof trusses and all framing materials were coated by PinkWood with a non-toxic pink coating that resists mold and moisture while providing added fire protection. We had a similar “mold resistant” process here in the Carolinas a few years back, Bluwood. Now we have gone full circle on “male” and “female” house types! Wonderful project for a great cause. Everyone involved should be commended. Thanks for sharing.
